TMF SUMMER DRONE CAMP 2020
Since 2015, more than 2,500 9th-12th graders throughout South Florida have attended the foundation’s S.T.E.M. and Youth Empowerment Summits where students collectively address social justice issues in their communities and schools while also learning how to prepare for career opportunities in science and technology.
In the summer of 2018, the Trayvon Martin Foundation, in partnership with Miami Dade College (North Campus), provided several dozen local students with scholarships to attend S.T.E.M. Camp where they will learn about robotics, coding, and drones.
The Trayvon Martin Foundation has many other youth S.T.E.M. initiatives planned for younger students in grades 9-12. All S.T.E.M. activities are offered to youth participants free of charge, and program supplies, transportation, and meals are provided when applicable.
