College Scholarship​

SCHOLARSHIP 2021 – 2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

This program provides a financial stipend to an academically qualified high school senior who has lost a family member to senseless gun violence. It is open to Miami Carol City Senior High School and Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School Students. The completed application, official high school transcript, and all other requested information must be submitted to qualify.

SCHOLARSHIP AGREEMENT

  • The scholarship recipient must be a full-time student (12 credits) for the fall semester  who has a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5 and has completed 100 hours of community service.
  • The scholarship recipient must provide proof of official enrollment. The scholarship will be awarded only after proof of official enrollment (after official drop/add deadline) is received. Scholarship funds will then be made payable to the university or college on behalf of the student.
  • The scholarship recipient will receive a one-time stipend.
  • Notification must be given to the Trayvon Martin Foundation by the recipient within ten (10) days for the following circumstances: Any change in the initial application criteria or any changes in enrollment for school year scholarship awarded.
